Celebrating Century Homes!

Many homes in Alameda have proudly reached their hundredth birthday. The Alameda Neighborhood Association is accepting orders for Century Home Plaques available to owners of homes built in 1926 or earlier. If you are unsure when your home was built enter your address on Portlandmaps.com to view official city records.

Plaque Details

These plaques are crafted from solid bronze, measuring 2.5 inches tall by 10 inches wide, and feature the year your house was built. They can be displayed on your house, door, wall, or displayed inside. Alameda plaques will be similar to those sold in the Laurelhurst neighborhood (see Laurelhurst plaque photo and Alameda plaque font on left).

Each plaque costs $150. Orders are submitted to the foundry in batches, with a minimum of 25 plaques per batch. Once the order reaches the foundry, production takes approximately two months. You will be notified by email when your plaque order is sent to the foundry and later when it is ready for delivery. Please be patient - it may take a month or two to collect 25 orders.

How to Place Your Order

You can place your order below and pay with a credit card. If you would rather pay by check please mail a check for $150 payable to “Alameda Neighborhood Association” to ANA Treasurer, 2524 NE Alameda St., Portland, OR 97212. If you pay by check please include your name, address, email, phone number and the year your house was built.
