Under the leadership of a new editor Annette Bendinelli, a long-time Alameda resident, past PTA president and now retired marketing professional, the Alameda Neighborhood Newsletter relaunched in December with a fall/winter edition. The paper included many of the long time contributing writers with a record for excellence and a few new writers who bring a fresh perspective to issues.
The Alameda newsletter has been a quarterly staple in mail boxes for decades and continues to be a way to share neighborhood news, local perspectives and events. According to Annette, her goal for the relaunch “Is to strengthen our neighborhood's sense of community, and focus on the people, places, and events that connect us.”
